No need to pay for a gym membership, book a jigging trip today and Captain John will gladly give ya a whole body workout. Pretty sure this one smoked the current record. Back in the water she went. Caught on a vertical jig today. Also got wahoo, jumped off a gaffer on popping rods. Jack jigging was off the hook, the big triggers were chewing. It was just a beautiful day full of hungry fish. Despite the crew being under the weather they still managed to get a couple hundred pounds of tasty bottom dwellers. We had one full grown AJ eat a whole trigger and get it stuck in it's gut. Fun times and back at it in the am for a jigging trip.
There were some nice triggers that came home with us. Plenty of Jacks. Marked the blackfin good. Looking forward to some great jigging trips in the upcoming weeks. The new motors ran great and the boat actually handled and rode better since we lowered them a bit with this last install. Happy Happy.
