Dear Sharks. According to National Marine Fisheries Council., these little red fish are extremely endangered, so please refrain from biting them in half. Thank you, Captain John. PS , thanks for not biting our gag groupers in half though.

Scrapped up a dozen gaffers and a couple slingers. The mahi fishing isn't quite what it should be for May. Hopefully some more fish are on their way. Still a good time and a good bit of meat for the father son charter.
The crew did some work grocery shopping today. Released at least another 1000 pounds of big almacos. Fun times with some epic ball busting.
Another great group of guys today. Caught gaffers on an all artifical lure spread, no ballyhoo needed with Sea Vixen lures. After getting a good catch of mahi we went to the bottom and caught some more groceries. Fun times .
Fooled around nearshore today. Got our groupers, and sea bass plenty of big grunts, silver snappers, triggers and a few jacks as well.
Played with some fishes again today. Good times, plenty of pulage and a few nice grouper, jigged up plenty of jacks. Caught about 10 actual true citation sized triggers, some others and some other stuff.
I kinda figured the cobia fishing conditions were gona make for a tough day, but we scrapped one out.
