Fun group today. Pretty weather, good fishing. The best catch was the couple pounds of grade A Wisconsin Chese Curds that were dropped off for the Captain. Thanks Kenny Lohry and crew !

Had a Father and Son crew that wanted to do a bit of trolling for dolphin today. It went swimmingly. Sea Vixen lures were the ticket.

9 am and the crew was feeling it. Fun bunch of guys from up north played with the jacks all day. First fish of the day was a mahi on the jig. Trollling tomorrow so that should be a nice change of pace.

Did a jig only trip today. They were chewing. The crew tapped out early in the morn with rubber arm syndrome. All you wanted and more jacks and a couple grouper as well.

WELL, the weather this morning was less than favorable, so we left late and played around a bit nearshore, found our limit of groupers, released a few , and went looking for the jacks. For the first time in a great long time, we could not get the jacks to play. Caught a few spanish on the way in and enjoyed a day on the water with some great guys from the state of Illinois. I was left with a big bag of corn fed Illinois corn fed venison brats, burger and smoked trout.Good day, even if the fishing was slow by our standards.

Had a nearshore trip today. Had a tough time catching bait this morning, and then my anchor course keep changing every minute. About half way through the day things got sorted out and the crew brought home over 350 lbs. of triggers, snappers, grouper, jacks and bass. I guess if everything went as planned we would have run out of room in the brine tank. Couple that with calm seas and you have a very enjoyable day.

Had fun running around the ocean catching, balloons, soda cans, plastic bags, and other marine debris in the Fishing for Plastics Tournament. Took a quick detour and made a couple drops to let the crew play with some big jacks. Dropped a jig 5 times, caught five fish, and went back to chasing trash.
