Played with some grown ones on the jigs today in less than ideal conditions. Another wonderful day with Paul Chua and the Saltywater Tackle crew. Some nice amberjacks and almacos, groupers, black fin tuna and mahi, 2 cobia. Everything came on jigs and poppers.
Had the Saltywater Tackle crew aboard for some topwater and jigging fun. The guys caught everything from tuna and mahi to cobia, triggers. bass, groupers, albacore, scup, American red snappers, and more. The boat was loaded down with quality tackle and the guys gave it a good workout. Fun times on a pretty ocean. Back for round 2 tomorrow. Went bottom fishing and jigging today. Released some Jack's as well. Epic ballbusting was the norm with a very fun crew. Enjoyed it thoroughly
Only had to throw back about 40 of these today. Boat limits of trigger and Beeliners , some pretty bass, all the jacks and big sharks You did or did not want. Short cobia and groupers as well. Back home early with a pile of groceries .
