Today was a beautiful day for sure. We stayed out of the rain squalls and had plenty of action and variety all day long. Threw back much more than we kept. What a fun crew. Ended the day with good food and friends at the yacht club including seabass and crab stuffed shrimp, all local of course. Life is good.
We had to work for them today. The seas. squalls, weeds and current made for some tough fishing . The crew was helpful keeps weeds at bay and got rewarded with 9 nice gaffers and a slinger.
Fishing was a bit slow today ,but, the guys scrapped a catch together. The ocean was as pretty as it gets for sure.
Pretty day today with some pretty fish. Plenty of jumbo triggers beeliners, jacks and other critters.
Thanks Frank Sain for cranking his ass off on one of the meaner ones I ever had to deal with. This was one of those devil fish that threw everything at us. 100 inch, 465 core.
Fun times on a not so pretty ocean. Big thanks to Jim and Frank for cranking on a mean one. Best part of the day was seeing Addie's expression when she got to touch her first bluefin. Doesn't get any better than that ! 96 inch cored out at 438 lbs.
Fun trip today. Stopped triigger fishing at 11:00 and then went jigging to round out the day. Centaur Anglers Choice rods got it done again.
