Finished up early with some quality eaters. Plenty released for future catching. Fun but hot day. Centaur Anglers Choice rods were our choice for cranking them from the deep.
Back to work after enjoying a few days with family and friends. Got back in early with plenty of meat. Fun day.
Every day cannot be all about just filling the fish box and today was a great example. I enjoyed a beautiful day with Madison, Ashley, and 6 year old Parker. We caught a few grouper, bass, grunts, snappers, sharks, and a lonely mahi. Not the poundage we usually put up, but, I enjoyed the day thoroughly. Good people ,good weather, good times, and some good future fish dinners.
Jigging today was a challenge with the current backing into the wind, but the guys worked through both that and some sea sickness and cranked in some pretty fish.
Another great day with great people. 300 lbs. of grouper and triggers are on the way back to Pennsylvania. Plenty of citaion size fish in that dock cart. The Centaur Anglers Choice Chiron 51 had no issues stopping a few of these full grown reds and gags today. Powerful little rod.
Played with some grown ones on the jigs today in less than ideal conditions. Another wonderful day with Paul Chua and the Saltywater Tackle crew. Some nice amberjacks and almacos, groupers, black fin tuna and mahi, 2 cobia. Everything came on jigs and poppers.
